These flannel sheets are cozy and warm with an incredible softness. An additional benefit is the sustainability feature involving mixing the colors into the white yarns. The color comes from using extra fiber that results from the spinning process in producing colored threads. This virgin residue is recycled and spun into the heather yarn. The yarns are dyed to strict European Environmental Standards, and therefore are eco-friendly. This product is made from a traditional European process of brushing and napping the face and back of the cotton fabric both before and after processing. All dyeing and printing is done under the highest European Ecological standards. The flannel cotton material is brushed 4 times on both sides creating a special warmth and coziness as well as extended wear and reduced pilling. Generous dimensions on the flat sheet and pillowcases ensure a nice fit when combined with extra deep pockets. High quality elastic is attached and hidden by the seam. Running the total length and width of the fitted sheet, this process ensures a secure fit and that the sheet will stay on the mattress. The deep pocket fitted sheet will fit most of today's thicker mattresses. The fitted sheet has elastic all around to ensure that sheet stays on the mattress.
